FROM THE PRACTICE
Axel de Martene
An agricultural and environmental engineer with a degree in oceanography and an Executive MBA, Axel has led public policy work and international negotiations in ministerial cabinets and at the European Commission. He now brings agriculture, territories and sustainable finance into the same conversation. He chairs the Climate Agriculture Alliance, the European carbon farming association, serves as an expert to the European Commission on financing transition projects, and is the author of the trilogy "Changing the Rules of the Game". He teaches in graduate schools and speaks regularly at conferences in France and across Europe.
